A message from Ron Kivovitch, Vice President of MNSW;

I am pleased to announce that the Motorcycling New South Wales Limited Board of Directors at their meeting on 20 April 2016, appointed Dave Cooke as Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary.

Since the departure of the previous General Manager, Dave has operated in the position of Interim Manager and has in a very short period of time made some significant changes to the manner in which the company carries out its responsibilities to its members.

Dave has already made changes within the office structure and cross-trained staff so that members are now able to speak directly to the officer that has the responsibility for member clubs situated in specific geographical areas, rather than as previously, needing to speak to a number of staff members on different issues.

Prior to his appointment as the Interim Manager, Dave was responsible for the operation of The National Motorcycle Alliance which has the responsibility for non-competition events as well as liaison with various government departments and our motorcycle roadside assistance service. Before joining MNSW Dave held numerous senior management positions with large multi-national companies, and many years ago was even the Manager of REVS Motorcycle News magazine, which some of you may remember. Dave is also a licensed competitor.

The appointment of Dave Cooke as Chief Executive Officer brings considerable business and motorcycling experience to the management of the company, as well as valued knowledge and support to The Board of Directors.

We trust you will all welcome Dave to the role, and look forward to him working with the Board to help develop a bright future for our sport.

On behalf of The Board of Directors.

Ron Kivovitch.
Vice President.
